Edit Sets:

California Hospital Transmit

Eureka Admission Level

Eureka Tumor Level

Fields:

RX Date Radiation  [NAACCR #1210]

RX Date Radiation Flag  [NAACCR #1211]

RX Summ--Radiation  [NAACCR #1360]

Message:

IF 340:  Conflict between RX Summ--Radiation, RX Date Radiation, and RX Date Radiation Flag.

Specification:

If RX Summ--Radiation = 0 (radiation not given) then RX Date Radiation must be blank and RX Date Radiation Flag field must = 11 (no radiation), or 15 (value expected to be available later -- planned treatment).

If RX Summ--Radiation = 1-6 (radiation given), then RX Date Radiation must contain a date or if blank, the RX Date Radiation Flag field must = 10 (no information whatsoever can be inferred), or 12 (given, but date is unknown).

If RX Summ--Radiation = 9 (unknown if given), then RX Date Radiation must be blank and the corresponding RX Date Radiation Flag must = 10 (no information whatsoever can be inferred).

Historical Changes:

2009 Data Changes: Added 8's to IF #340 so if Date Rad=8's then Rad Sum cannot be 1-6.
2010 Data Changes: CCR names (Date Rad; Rad Sum) changed to NAACCR names.
May 2013
  • Data item name changed from RX Date--Radiation to RX Date Radiation
  • Data item name changed from RX Date--Radiation Flag to RX Date Radiation Flag.
