Specification:

This edit is skipped if any of the following conditions are true:

• Histologic Type IDC-0-3 is blank.

• Any of the single field edits for Date of Diagnosis, Primary Site, Laterality, Histologic Type IDC-0-3, Behavior Code ICD-0-3, or Coding System for EOD have failed.

• Date if Diagnosis is < 2001.

• If Histologic Type ICD-0-3 = 9140, 9701, 9590-9980.

• If Over-ride Site/Lat/EOD contains a "1", (review complete).

1. For Nonspecific Extent of Disease (Coding System for Extent of Disease = 0):

1. If the Laterality is '9', (no information concerning laterality), the Extent of Disease cannot be coded '0-', insitu carcinoma; '4-', localized; or '5-', regional by direct extension only.

2. For Two Digit Extent of Disease (Coding System for Extent of Disease = 1):

1. If the Laterality is '9' (no information concerning laterality), then the first digit of the two digit site-specific extent of disease cannot be '0', '1', '2', '3', or '4'.

2. For site histology combinations other than:
