Messages:

IF 751: If CS Extension = 00, then CS Lymph Nodes must = 00.

 

Specification:

This edit is skipped if any of the following is true:

 

If Tumor level and (Date of Diagnosis year = 2004-9998)

OR

Admission level and (Date of Diagnosis year = 2004-9998) or (Date of Diagnosis year is unknown (blank) and

Date of 1st Contact year = 2004-9998), then:

 

If Primary Site = 500-509 (Breast), then:

If CS Extension = 00 (in situ), then CS Lymph Nodes must = 00 (none; regional lymph node involvement, or ITCs detected by immunohistochemistry or molecular methods ONLY) or 05 (none; no regional lymph nodes but with (ITCs) detected on routine H and E stains) and CS Mets at DX must = 00 (none).

If Primary Site = 670-679 (Bladder), then

If CS Extension = 01, 03, or 06 (in situ), then CS Lymph Nodes must = 00 (no lymph node involvement) and CS Mets at DX must = 00

(none), else (Err #751).

 

For all other Primary Sites:

If CS Extension = 00, then both CS Lymph Nodes and CS Mets at DX must = 00 (none).

If CS Extension = 00 (in situ), then

CS Lymph Nodes = 00, and CS Mets at DX must = 00 (none), else (Err #751).

 

Historical Changes:

1/08/07:  Added IF #751 (to match CS edit added to NAACCR 11.1).

6/01/07:  Updated IF #751 to include exception 05 for breast cases and added CS_Mets_DX check.

2/20/08:  Added skip if histology is Kaposi Sarcoma, Lymphoma, or Hematopoietic. Modified so that it will be skipped if Hist_Behavior_3 = 0 (benign) or 1 (borderline) and Site is not 700-729 (Brain and Other CNS) or 751-753 (Intracranial Endocrine). This edit was also modified to include Bladder check.

2010 Data Item Changes:  CCR names (CS Mets DX; CS LN) changed to NAACCR names.
