Historical Changes:

In the SEER*Edits software, the title of this edit is: IF82

2011 Data Changes: This edit was added to cover the middle lobe lung edit that SEER has since the CCR used to have this covered in our IF 326.  IF 326 was an old historical CCR edit that didn't match any national edits so the CCR edit was changed to match the SEER/COC edit.  This SEER/COC Laterality edit doesn't include the middle lobe lung part.  The CCR edit for middle lobe lung used to be more restrictive and we only allowed a 1. There is no Volume One standard to support this so we are going with the SEER edit. The CCR edit IF 966 is different then the SEER edit which has the "Diagnosis is > 2006 "restriction for code 4.

Old CCR edit logic was:

If Primary Site

Then Laterality

Else
