New data items added to help identify path reports used in abstracting, to facilitate automatic new case abstract/pathology report matching at the regional/central registry, and to expand the space available in the path text field. Starting in 2008, visual editors will be reviewing path reports along side the submitted cases, so it is important to identify all the reports used by the abstractor.

Data Item Changes: Name changed from DxRx Path Report Facility, because the former State requestor item is now a new NAACCR data item.

10/2014

Updated logic to include Physician Medical Office reporting source numbers with a format of 3rd to 5th digit = 803. Revision part of transition to RSM.

09/2015

Revised CA_HOSP.DBF table to match specification of CCR Hospital Codes table. The table excludes:

  • Physician Medical Office reporting sources to decrease size of table and instead included in edit logic.

Created new table CA_HOSP2.DBF to include historically used Reporting Sources.
